- What material did you use? And how does it compare to the material of the original part?
Basically aluminum. The rest is our secret. You can see with naked eye that the parts cannot be compared t OEM cheap design, made by INA.
- What is the expected durability? For the original adjusters Alfa suggests changing them with the cambelt which is every 100k km.
Much more, we expect 200 000 km
- Your design features only 4 oil chambers whereas the original has 5, what was the reason for this and how does it affect the flow of oil?
No impact on oil flow. More important factor is leakage which is extremely high in OEM design.
- How many have you sold so far, do you have any feedback from the customers?
We sell few sets every day, worldwide.
- How do you hold up the pulley while torquing it down? Surely you cannot rely on the camlock tools? Also, I see you are prescribing 120Nm, but Alfa manual says 60Nm + 25deg
Holding the camshaft with camlocks and applied timing belt is enough to hold 130 NM. We do not have the same torque as OEM since we have completely different design here.
Na následující 2 dotazy jsem zatím nedostal odpověď:
- How are the oil chambers sealed between themselves? The blades in the OEM design are pushed towards the housing by a spring which is inserted in between the blade and the rotor. How are you going about this, please?

- Observing the shape of the teeth on your design and OEM, they seem to be a bit different - yours looks more rounded, whereas the OEM (and teeth on the timing belt itself) are rather trapezoidal. Could you please explain?
